Think of it as a digital version of the desk clerk in a hotel, the host(ess) in a restaurant, or as the service alert and customer confirmation tool for the newly created BOPIS/Curbside Attendant position.

A variation of Scan & Pay designed to address customizable orders – quantities, ingredients, extras, special requirements, etc…. Acknowledging the  newfound safety challenges of many businesses, Order & Pay allows customers to place their orders with minimal interaction with staff. Orders are delivered to in-house systems who then can act solely as the delivery mechanism – ensuring minimum contact and maximum safety for all. Payments are integrated and configurable to the needs of the business.

Emerging from our work in grocery, this tool is the realization that many different verticals have their own version of a recipe and customers could benefit from some help in putting it all together. This tool is an extension to Scan & Learn and provides suggestions to customers from which to choose based on their current digital interaction. Examples include:

  • Grocery: scanning Portobello Mushrooms provides recipes including this item.
  • Restaurants: Scanning a specific dinner item provides wine or other food pairing options.
  • Hardware: Scanning pressure-treated 4x4s provide deck design options and material lists
  • Hotels: Scanning the in-room dining menu allows for digital ordering without contacting In-Room Service
  • Fashion: Scanning the red sweater provides the “recipe” for building multiple other outfits – pants, shirts, socks, shoes, etc….

Scan & Pay is a contactless payment method where items are scanned, added to a cart, and payment is performed from the customer’s mobile device.
